Dayton

From its location on the shore of Flathead Lake, Dayton is an ideal launching point for travel to Wild Horse Island—a primitive state park in Flathead Lake. Dayton Bay is known for its consistent winds and is a great place to sail, as well as providing visitors with access to sailboat rentals, sailing lessons and winter storage. Montana's first bonded winery—Mission Mountain Winery—is also located near Dayton and produces wines that include grapes grown at their on-site vineyard.
