Stay in Glacier National Park

Within its one million acres, Glacier National Park has campgrounds, backcountry chalets, historic lodges and motor inns—each welcoming visitors in their own distinct way.

Lodges and motor inns within the park (including Glacier Park Lodge, Many Glacier Hotel, Swiftcurrent Motor Inn, Rising Sun Motor Inn, Lake McDonald Lodge and Village Inn) are operated by Glacier Park, Inc., while Apgar Village Lodge is operated by West Glacier Mercantile. Sperry Chalet and Granite Park Chalet are both National Historic Landmarks that were constructed by the Great Northern Railway in 1912 and 1914. Both of these backcountry chalets are operated by Belton Chalets Inc.

Glacier National Park is home to 13 campgrounds and more than 1,000 campsites. Most campsites are available on a first-come, first-serve basis, while Fish Creek and St. Mary campground may be reserved in advance. For more information on camping in the park, visit the National Park Service website.

There are also numerous gateway communities around Glacier National Park that offer lodging and camping services.
